This is a full-time one-year term position and there is a strong possibility of the position becoming permanent.
Qualifications:1.) BSc or MSc or diploma in Physiotherapy,
2.) Eligible for or currently has licence with the NS College of Physiotherapists,
3.) Currently holds personal malpractice insurance,
4.) Ability to accurately assess patients physical abilities and disabilities; administer evaluative tests; plan physiotherapy treatment programs; select appropriate treatment modalities, manual therapy techniques and exercise programs; write detailed clinical reports; and communicate with colleges and other health professionals,
5.) Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) is preferred, AND
6.) Having completed CPA Orthopaedic Division's E2V2 or Level 2 manual therapy program and Sport Physiotherapy Canadas sport certification or diploma are considered to be strong assets.
